I use this when introducing drawing pencils: 6B, 4B, 2B, B, HB, & 2H.
 
When demonstrating with students: I use I project the handout image on the whiteboard or print and use my overhead camera. I show and explain the technique and then have students practice that line.
 
I have students glue this in their sketchbooks at the end of the class to create an interactive notebook.
 
I like to go from dark to light, but you can easily go from light to dark!
